Teddy’s Story
Teddy Dore grew up in Valley East and was a sports enthusiast who loved playing Hockey! He was a talented player in rep hockey through his childhood and adolescents years. Teddy eventually became a coach and passing on his knowledge and love for the game to younger players. Teddy a long life resident of Valley East until he got his dream job as a Police Officer in Toronto Police force. Shortly after achieving this, Teddy was diagnosed with cancer and sadly succumbed to the disease. To honor Teddy and his legacy, a group of individuals started the Annual Teddy Shack Golf Tournament.
Since 2021 the Valley East Renegades continue this mission.
